Alili Organic Argan Oil and Harissa come up trumps having placed as Silver Finalists at the sofi Awards this spring. The sofi Awards, standing for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation, recognize excellence in specialty foods and beverages in 31 categories. Formerly known as the NASFT Awards, the sofi Awards are judged by a national panel of specialty food experts. This past year 1,433 submissions were tasted and evaluated.

A sofi™ Award is the specialty food industry’s highest honor and is known to vitalize awarded products with an exceptional amount of attention from buyers, the press and food critics. The competition is open to NASFT members in good standing only and past winners report enjoying an extensive climb in sales.

After the tremendous dedication and hard work of introducing ALILI's unique products to the world,  ALILI owner Majid Slimani could not be more pleased and honored to have his company recognized in such a powerful way in what was considered by the sofi Award judges as one of the most competitive years to date. Mr. Slimani looks forward to summer where there is potential for ALILI to be chosen as a Gold Medal candidate for the final portion of the sofi Awards in 2009.
